Referrals are running behind

Faye informed me yesterday that our referral may be late, you guys know I have been writing about it being here in Nov. sometime. Well our friends that are ahead of us in the adoption process should have received their referral last month, but they have yet to receive anything. I guess that this is a normal process, I just wish I understood why this month is different from 3 months ago? I guess I have worked for the Government and I shouldn't question why things work the way they do, I just understand that it is a goofy system. Any how I wanted to let everyone know that our schedule may be changing, I secretly hope that it still comes this month. What an exciting time for Faye and I. I guess it's not the end of the world if we don't get our referral this month, and what are you to do? I guess I have to learn patience sometime and this might as well be it. All I can do is pray for the system to work as quickly as possible and hope we have our Alexandria Grace in the next couple of months.

It's official

Faye and I have finally agreed on a name and Faye isn't allowed to change her mind anymore. We were teetering between Alexandria Hope and Abigail Grace, well Faye decided she likes Alexandria and Grace so that is it PERIOD. Alexandria Grace will hopefully arrive sometime in Jan. or Feb. and we will have our very first child. Been a while since I put anything on the board, Faye thinks we won't get our referral until Dec. , I am hoping that it comes this month around the 20th or so. Any how everything is fine with Faye and I, hope all is well with all our friend and family that check in occasionally.
